About Kalim on Phuket
This Villa on Phuket island, Thailand is for sale and located only 700 m to Patong beach in Kalim. To the north of Patong Beach lies Kalim Beach. Unlike it’s famous big brother, Kalim Beach is rocky and not suitable for most beach activities. The seabed is also quite rocky and not really suitable for swimming. If the tide is in, there are some snorkeling opportunities with coral to explore. Saying this it’s really nice to know that Patong is only a 5 minute walk away, but still far enough away to feel that you are not in Patong.
Driving along Patong Beach, the road will eventually wind inland and come to a fork. Turning left at the fork will take you further up along the coast. Kalim Beach is on your immediate left before you come to the big hill. On the way you will see many restauranted perched over-looking the Andaman sea.

In my view the beach. Kalim is OK but the best places are: Promthep Cape (Laem Promthep), Big Buddha or Kata Rocks. Anywhere around the west / south side of Phuket island in Thailand.

The beer or larger costs around Kalim on Phuket island, Thailand is: Domestic Beer (0.5 liter draught) is around 70 / 90.00฿ while Imported Beer (0.33 liter bottle) will be around 100.00 ฿. Nightclubs, and higher end venues can be a lot more and supermarkets / mini markets will be a bit cheaper. Check out the 'Happy Hour' signs as you walk or drive by. Most bars will have them. I have known people on Phuket island who only track these events and save a load of money. Everyone to his/her/their own right :)
