Even with one visit, there is a good chance that you will not be able to experience all that this great city has to offer. Yes, you probably will have to come back for more.
For many travelers, Pattaya is also on top of their list. Located along the gulf of Thailand just an hour and a half drive from Bangkok’s main airport, the city is one of the best ocean side resorts in Asia.
With hundreds of affordable hotels to choose from, accommodation is never a problem, no matter how big it may be. This location offers you access to water sports, golfing, and a wide selection of restaurants serving a variety of Thai delicacies. There are also many markets and shopping malls which offer a pleasant way to pass the time.
Beautiful Chiang Mai is located in the mountainous region of northwest Thailand. It’s another city that offers a great shopping experience and affordable prices.
One of my favorites is the night market in Chiang Mai, which is open from 5pm to midnight every day. Visitors have access to a wide range of goods which include clothing, bags, souvenirs, and shoes just to name a few.
In addition to the shopping, there are many other activities you can enjoy such as mountain treks, biking, elephant rides, and river excursions. If you are looking for an affordable location with lots of fun things to do, then Chiang Mai may be for you.
If you prefer a destination that allows you to get in touch with nature, then Koh Chang is a name to remember. Home to the country’s marine national park, Koh Chang has gained the nickname of being one of the last untouched paradises in Southeast Asia due to the fact that most of the area has remained untouched by modern infrastructure.
If you want a peaceful place for your vacation and don’t like to spend your time at one of the countries many most sought-after beaches, then Koh Chang is the perfect location for you. After a relaxing stay in one of their natively designed bungalows, you may not want to return to the hustle and bustle of your normal life ever again!
These are just a few of the popular travel destinations in the Golden Kingdom. Whether you are a nature buff or a shopaholic, Thailand is sure to provide at least one highly sought-after travel destination that will best suit your needs.
